Emily Sripinyo

Experience

Emily has a wide range of legal experience. While attending law school in California, she worked for the Honorable John A. Houston when he was a Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, and was an intern for the United States Attorney’s Office Civil Division there as well. After she received her license to practice law in California, Emily worked at the law office of Kissane and Cook doing retirement pension and health care law (ERISA law).

Education

Emily received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2002. While there, she served as Lead Articles Editor of the San Diego Law Review and spent a summer studying International Business Law at King’s College in London, England. In addition to her law degree, Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.

Background

Emily was born in Michigan, but like most military spouses, she has called many places home. She now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, their two children, and their dog. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and riding horses.
